GETTING TO KNOW YOUR COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE

The Kingman County Clerk's office provides many different services for the residents of Kingman County.  Services include such diverse activities as providing Homestead and State forms, hunting and fishing licenses, conducting elections, and assisting you with Federal tax forms - all for you, the taxpayer.

Tasks are plentiful in the Clerk's office as they are responsible for many different activities.  The office takes care of the County's payroll and benefits, accounts payable, elections( and yes, this is a BIG responsibility!), maintaining the Election Voting Information System (affectionately referred to as "ELVIS"), overseeing townships, working with abstracts, establishing levies, posting deeds, attending Commission meetings, monitoring fish and game sales, overseeing the County budget (again, a very significant responsibility!), and other tasks too numerous to list here!

The Clerk's office employs a total of four employees, three in addition to the County Clerk.  Benefits are handled by Gayle Ziegler, the county's benefit assistant.  Gayle is always willing to help answer questions.  Questions and Election preparations are handled by Carol Noblit, Deputy County Clerk.   County Clerk's office staff are knowledgeable about each other's areas of responsibility so customers are always guaranteed service, regardless of which employee may be in the office at any given time or day.

Inge Luntsford, the County Clerk, is passionate about having her employees skilled in every office task so they can best serve and assist the public.  The staff of the Clerk's office is dedicated to performing good 'customer service'.  In fact, their office motto is "We aim to please!"(No pun intended because of the hunting licenses!).
