It appears some new faces will be elected to local governing bodies on Nov. 7.
This year will be the first for the new format of electing city and school board positions in the fall. There will not be a primary election because not enough candidates filed in any race.
There was a wide range of interest in public office across the county. No one filed for mayor or five city council seats in Penalosa or Zenda. Six people filed for three seats on the Kingman City Commission.
