County Makes Local Disaster Declaration

Kingman County Commissioners signed the local declaration for damage from heavy rain May 10-12. Several areas of the county received 5 inches of rain or more.
Several townships have reported damage to roads and culverts. Initial damage estimates far exceeded the county's damage threshold for a declaration. That threshold is $28,367.38 and is based on population.
